The BMCEDC engaged Next Move Group to develop their five-year comprehensive economic development strategic plan for two cities in two different counties, divided by the Missouri River. This plan illustrates how both communities can and should work together for growth while also enhancing diversity and inclusion with local tribes.
VisionNow is our mid-level strategic planning service that focuses solely on what is most important to your community’s economic development future.
VisionNow’s goal is to create an action-oriented strategic plan that is carried out over the short term (two to three years) that will result in the strong foundation needed to implement a comprehensive economic development plan. Part of our VisionNow process includes visiting your community and extensive stakeholder engagement, one-on-one, or in small focus groups.

RAEDC needed a shorter-term plan to get the organization re-established as the industrial development and business attraction specialist for the Greater Rockford Area. Next Move Group delivered a tactical and action-oriented plan that will reestablish their foundation as an economic development authority. RAEDC’s VisionNow plan was crafted to ensure they would be ready and able to develop and lead a long-term comprehensive economic development strategy plan for the Greater Rockford Area within two to three years.
